The Waiting Game

As most of you know applications have been up for almost two weeks. Now that most of you have taken the Web Based Interview and the Phone Interview, you are now eagerly checking your emails every five minutes waiting for that Acceptance email.

The waiting game is one of those games that none of us want to play because we all want to know right now if we have gotten accepted into the College Program. So here is a list of things that you can do while you wait for that email.

  • Start your own blog or vlog
  • Join the skype chat
  • Watch other vlogs about their adventures in the College Program
  • Do school work/homework

Those are just a few things you can do while you wait for that very important email that will definitely change your life.

If you have anything else that you do while you are waiting for the email post it in a comment below and I will add it to the list.

Until that emails comes, keep waiting!

Phone Interview

Hey everybody!

As most of you know, applications for the Disney College Program started this week. If you have not applied yet then click here and apply! There are three main parts to the application process, the application, the web based interview, and the phone interview. Now you must pass the web based interview before you can even schedule the phone interview.

So here we are today, Saturday, January 22, 2011. My phone interview is set to begin at 11:30cst and I’m ready to get it over with. Since I have already gone through the interview process before, I am not as nervous as I was the first time.

I am currently a seasonal cast member at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where I work in parking and the auto plaza. Now before you go wow that job sucks, well it doesn’t. I love working in the parking lot and the auto plaza. If you have any questions about my role feel free to comment here or send me an email or something and I will be more than happy to answer any questions that you might have. If you have any questions about the college program itself, go check out Derek’s Blog!

Thats all for now!

First Day of Class

The first day of class was today and like a good student I go to class. Though I only have one class every Tuesday and Thursday, it is a night class from 6:00 to 7:15. Since it is my only class of the day and it is the first day of class I decided to go. Well I arrived to school about 45 minutes early since I left work and went straight to school. I finally decided to go into class 15 minutes prior to the class starting. Well 6 o clock rolls around and no professor. I’m sitting on my laptop checking my school email and school schedule and by now it is 6:15. By now students are starting to leave the class since it has been 15 minutes and the professor hasn’t shown up yet. I got up as well and walked to my car and drove home. I’m actually glad that I did leave early because about 20 minutes after I got home, it started pouring down rain. I guess I will try the class again on Thursday and see if the professor actually shows up this time.

Now that my first day is over, there was a press conference tonight at the Magic Kingdom after the park closed. To get a good recap of the news check our my friend Derek’s blog. The new Fantasyland expansion looks amazing and I cannot wait for it to start opening up next year. Also if you would like to watch the live version of the press conference click here

That’s it for now, check back later and leave a comment!
